Begin your WPC experience with a memorable opening reception at the Memory Garden, located in the heart of Monterey just steps from the Portola Hotel. Designed in 1927 by renowned landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted, Jr., this serene and historic garden provides a truly special setting for gathering and celebration.

Enclosed by an eight-foot adobe wall, the Memory Garden features a graceful central fountain shaded by majestic Southern Magnolia trees. In late June, attendees may be greeted by fruit trees and the gentle aromas of blooming roses, coastal lavender, and jasmine.
